Kirkstall Brewery
AK IPA
Revival Series
5% ABV
Based on an 1885 Kirkstall recipe, 'AK' was used to denote a pale, bitter suitable fo keeping, though by 1885 many of these beers were served fresh like other Pale Ales and English IPAs. A simple, light malt base and No. 1 Invert Sugar allows the West Yorkshire Ale yeast to shine with soft fruit flavours, whilst traditional English hop varieties add tangy hedgerow fruit notes and clean bitterness.
